Cusco Care Services
Our Functional Capacity Assessment service involves a comprehensive evaluation of an individual’s ability to perform everyday activities across key life domains, including self-care, mobility, communication, social participation, learning, and independent living.
Our clinicians use standardised assessment tools, clinical observations, and detailed interviews to objectively measure strengths, support needs, and the impact of disability on daily functioning. We analyse how physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and environmental factors influence performance in real-world settings.
The assessment findings are compiled into a detailed clinical report that clearly outlines functional limitations, capacity levels, and evidence-based recommendations. These reports are designed to inform NDIS plan reviews, justify reasonable and necessary supports, and guide goal-directed, individualised intervention planning to optimise independence and participation.
Our Autism and ADHD Diagnostic Assessment service provides a comprehensive, evidence-based evaluation to determine whether an individual meets the diagnostic criteria for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
Our multidisciplinary clinicians conduct detailed developmental histories, structured clinical interviews, behavioural observations, and standardised assessments aligned with current diagnostic guidelines (DSM-5-TR). Where appropriate, we gather collateral information from parents, caregivers, teachers, or partners to ensure an accurate and well-rounded understanding of presentation across settings.
The assessment process evaluates cognitive functioning, social communication, attention, executive functioning, sensory processing, adaptive skills, and emotional regulation to identify both strengths and areas of difficulty.
Following the assessment, we provide a comprehensive diagnostic report outlining findings, clinical formulation, and clear recommendations. Reports can support NDIS access requests, educational adjustments, workplace accommodations, and individualised intervention planning. Throughout the process, we aim to provide a respectful, affirming, and supportive experience that recognises neurodiversity and promotes informed next steps for each client and their family.
Our Therapy Intervention service delivers individualised, goal-directed supports designed to improve mental health, wellbeing, and functional capacity. Our qualified clinicians provide evidence-based interventions within a recovery-oriented framework, focusing on strengths, autonomy, and meaningful participation in daily life.
Interventions are tailored to each person’s needs and may address emotional regulation, skill development, daily living skills, social participation, trauma recovery, psychosocial functioning, and overall quality of life. We work collaboratively with clients, families, and support networks to ensure therapy aligns with identified goals and promotes sustainable outcomes.
Our multidisciplinary team includes:
Through coordinated and compassionate care, we aim to support long-term recovery, independence, and improved well-being.
Our Cognitive Abilities Assessment service provides comprehensive, standardised evaluations of intellectual and cognitive functioning for children, adolescents, and adults. Assessments are conducted by qualified clinicians using validated psychometric tools to measure areas such as reasoning, memory, processing speed, attention, and problem-solving abilities.
Where indicated, we also assess adaptive functioning across daily living, communication, and social domains to determine overall functional impact. When assessment findings meet established diagnostic criteria (DSM-5-TR), a diagnosis of Intellectual Disability (Intellectual Impairment) may be provided.
Results are compiled into a detailed, evidence-based report outlining cognitive profile, functional implications, diagnostic conclusions (where applicable), and practical recommendations. Reports can support NDIS access and planning processes, educational adjustments, and the development of targeted interventions and supports.
